He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Jelks and J. W. Jelks. He is survived by: his wife Robbie; his daughter Amber; his son-in-law Matt Warren; his grandsons, Christopher and Jack Warren of Norman, OK; his daughter Megan; his son-in-law Adam Hays of Boulder City, NV; his grandsons, Austin and Brandon Hays of Grain Valley, MO; his pet Arnie; his son Robert Jelks of Kansas City, MO; and his siblings, Geraldine Hicks of Warsaw, MO and Junior Jelks of Osceola, MO. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Ronald Jelks Memorial Fund and may be left in care of the funeral home.
