He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Dewitt Coit and Ina Dee Hudson Coit of Bakersfield, CA.; his sister Sue Haig; and his brothers-in-law, John Haig and Jerry Ashen.
He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Williamson; his sons, Michael E. Coit (Rita) of Warsaw and Randall 'Kevin Coit (Edith) of Torrance, CA; his grandchildren, Melissa (Chad), Chris, Greg, Betty, Sam, Ben, Lindsey and Jessica; his great grandchildren, Eric and Kamryn; his sister Jackie Ashen; and his brother-in-law Roger Williamson (Marty) of Clinton. He is also survived by several other family members and several friends.
