He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Long and Rose Long; his siblings, Donnie, LeeRoy, Jerry Long, Kathy and Peggy; and his grandson Nicholas.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Long; his sons, James Long (Amanda) and Brian Long; his granddaughters, Lauryn Long and Chloe Long; his sisters, Linda, Sue and Robin; and his sister-in-law Shirley Long. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions can be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund and may be left in care of the funeral home.
