She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Wortman and Rosemary Wortman (Hand); her sons, Joe Pitts and Ron Pitts; and her grandson Clayton Sales.

She is survived by: her children, John Pitts (Sharon), Rosemarie Smith and Felecity Castiglia; and her sister Imy Gates. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren.
