She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Jay, Patty Hunter and Diane "Dee Dee" Holt of Clyde's General Store; her great-grandparents, Norris, Bertha Stanley (Leslie), Leslie, Jean Claypool, Harry and Nellie Parratt; her stepgrandmother Carol Jean Strong; and her cousin Tanner Lane Edmunds.
She is survived by: her son Emerson Dean Sheek of Clinton; her fiancé Gehrig Taylor of Clinton; her mother Jennifer Strong; her stepfather Stephen Strong of Fairhope; her father David Hunter; her stepmother Keri Harrell of Clinton; her brother Steven Strong of Fairhope; her stepsisters, Kendra Wachner (Wesley) of Virginia Beach, Makayla Johnson (Alex) of Independence and Kelsey Harrell of Windsor, Missouri.; her grandfather Steven Parratt of Lowry City; her stepgrandparents, Ted Holt (Eileen) of Clinton, Stella Maynard of Carthage, Ron and Linda Strong of Garden City; her aunts and uncles, Sarah Jones (Waylon) of Clinton, Eric Fisher (Tara) of Coos Bay, Scott Hunter (Kathi) of Independence, Jeanette Baker (Brian) of Harrisonville, John Strong of Blue Springs, Rick Strong of Lebanon, Eric Yates (Meagan) of Nevada and Kristi Caruthers (Brice) of Blue Springs; her niece Kinsley Wachner of Virginia Beach, VA; and her cousins, Bailey, Jacy Jones of Clinton and Stephanie Thacker (Michael) of Milton. She is also survived by her mother's coworkers.
Post Covid, she decided to work with a travel company and was currently working in the ICU at Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, Missouri.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Leslie Hunter Memorial Fund for her son Emerson Sheek and may be left in care of the funeral home.
