He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Mattson and Jeanette Mattson of Newberry, Michigan.; his wife Cindy May Mattson (Watson); and his son J. Mattson. He is survived by: his children, Kimmie Reno (Chris) of Clinton, Barry Mattson of Strafford, Lee C. Mattson of Kansas City, Rose Mattson of Michigan and George "Jamie" Mattson of Michigan; and his grandson Jeremy Reno of Clinton. He is also survived by other siblings, cousins, grandchildren, and many friends.
