She was predeceased by: her parents, Lemmie Vaytch Loyd and Clarica Alice Downing Loyd; and her sisters, Loretta, Lee Etta and Laverna.
She is survived by: her husband William Joseph Elmer; her sons, Brad Elmer (Karen) of Clinton, MO, Scott Elmer (Kelly) of Liberty, MO and John Elmer (Jane) of Clinton, MO; and her grandchildren, Tanner Elmer, Caleb and Chloe Elmer. She is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
