It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Joy Jones of Clinton, Missouri, who passed away at the age of 89, on March 4, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As Joy departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Joy. Though Joy may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eldon Frisch and Marie Frisch; and her daughter Beverly Jelinek. She is survived by: her husband Ewell Jones; her daughter Cindy Heinold; and her grandchildren, Kellie King, Chris Hogan and Eric Jelinek. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Vansant-Mills Funeral Home (314 W Jefferson St, Clinton, MO 64735). A memorial service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church or to St. Jude Children's Hospital and may be left in care of the funeral home.
