It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Young of Clinton, Missouri, who passed away on June 23, 2021, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter "Junior" Young and Marcella Dunning Young; his son John Anderson Young Jr.; and his brother Ronald Joe Young. He is survived by: his wife Janet; his great grandchild Lexi Woodington; his stepmother Lawanna Young of Clinton; his children, Tracy Young (Kim) of Overland, Jason Young (Zulekha) of Wichita, Allen T. Fuller Sr. of Huntingdale, Amy Young of Blue Springs, Brandy Halvorson (Tim) of Colgate and Cheri McCubbin (Roy) of Drexel; and his siblings, Gary Young (Loretta) of Riverside, Gerald "Pete" Young (Mary) of Deepwater, David Garcia (Debbie) of Deepwater, Dena Young and Susan Witherspoon of Clinton. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to First Baptist Church or the Clinton Christian Academy and can be left in care of the funeral home.
