He was predeceased by: his father Gene Pickering; and his siblings, Randy Pickering and Cindy. He is survived by: his wife Tracy Coleen Pickering (Emmons); his mother Jeanette Pickering (Rector) of Valparaiso, Indiana; his children, Jerry Pickering, Jr. of Kansas City, Missouri, Michelle Nicholas (Pickering) of Kouts and Trisha Landers (Clifton) of LaTour, Missouri; his siblings, Chuck Pickering of Valparaiso, Donnie Pickering (Sebrena) of Westville, Indiana, Sandy Hennrich (John) of Marcellus and Paula Gualardi of Michigan City, Indiana; his sister-in-law Terry Pickering of Valparaiso, Indiana; and his grandchildren, Paige Landers, Brooklyn Landers, Tristen Pickering, Cordelia Nicholas and Tyler Gene Pickering. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many, many friends.
