George C. Thayer Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George C. Thayer of Clinton, Missouri, who passed away on September 26, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Webster Aldrich Thayer and Agnes Maxine Sargent; and his sister Betsey Wetherbee. He is survived by: his wife Blanche Edna Sumner of Halifax, VT.; his daughters, Leah Betsey and Courtney Rebecca; his sons-in-law, Josh Pritchard and Justin Wallhoff; his grandchildren, Knox, Violet, Noah, Malcolm, Lucie, Lillian and Webster; and his siblings, Bill Thayer and Mary Towne. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and their children.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be given to Celebrate Recovery. Checks can be made to "First Baptist Church of Clinton" with a designation for "Celebrate Recovery" and mailed to First Baptist Church, 209 E. Jefferson St., Clinton, MO, 64735.
