It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Garry V. Byington of Clinton, Missouri, who passed away on October 4, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Garry V. Byington to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Byington and Nettie Byington; his former wife Mary Burnside; his siblings, Eunice Crotty, Donna Deweese, Miriam Davis and Don Byington; his daughter Candy Byington; and his stepdaughter Debbie Carpenter.
He is survived by: his cousins, Lonnie, Ben, Judie and Joy; his wife Millie; his daughters, Vonnetta, Tammy and Jo Ellen; his stepchildren, Donna and Robbie; and his grandchildren, David, Jennifer, Cassandra, Sam and Augie. He is also survived by his step-grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Vansant-Mills Chapel (314 W Jefferson St, Clinton, MO 64735). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. The military honors was held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the National Cemetery.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Clinton Community Center or the Warrensburg Veterans Home-Canteen and may be left in care of the funeral home.
