It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Garhon Stauss of Clinton, Missouri, born in Fort Worth, Texas, who passed away on August 31, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Ekman and Frankie Ekman. She is survived by: her husband Gary Stauss; her children, Elizabeth Stauss and Mark Stauss (Vicki Brightwell) of Trimble, Missouri; her brother Earl Ekman of Crestwood; her sister-in-law Sue Wentz of Kansas City, Missouri; her granddaughter Katia Stauss of Kansas City; her great grandchildren, Emily, Abby, Molly and Penelope; and her nephews, Paul and Michael Wentz.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the Well of Hope, and may be left in care of the funeral home.
