He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Railey Edgar and Mary Ellen Houk (Moulder); his son-in-law David Allen Turner; his wife Wanda Lea Houk (Green); his children, Johnny DeVaughn Houk (Barbara) and Vivian Irene Turner (David); his grandchildren, John Matthew Houk, Crystal Dawn Houk, Nichole Shawn Brewer (James), John Seth Shumate, Ryan Scott Houk (Cheryl) of James David, John Christopher Turner, Lacy Belinda Wiseman (Sam), Jason Turner, Jenna Robinson (Eric) and Chelsea Lauren Longoni (Alex); and his great grandchildren, Hannah, Nicholas Brewer, Kaden, Cooper, Kellyn Robinson, Matthew Ryan Houk, Ella, Mary Alice Wiseman, Reese Shumate, Chloe and Cyrus Houk. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation and can be left in care of the funeral home.
