It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugene Floyd Loyd (Clinton, Missouri), who passed away on October 30, 2019, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, David A. Loyd and Sarah Louisa 'Sparks' Loyd of Clinton, MO.; his wife Dorothy Houk; his children, Steven Eugene Loyd, Donald Jackson Loyd and Mary Louise Prater; and his siblings, Leonard, Earl, Muril, James, Orville, Clyde, Joseph, John Robert and Hazel.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, David Matthew, Kevin Lee, Casandra Sue, Misty Lynn and Elizabeth Ann; his great grandchildren, Kevin Patrick, Trevor James, Britany Renee, William, Joshua, Aaron, Kaitlyn and Maddison; and his great great grandchild Liam Beau.
The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the Gideons International and left in care of Consalus Funeral Home, 209 S. 2nd St., Clinton, MO 64735.
