With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charlie Engelken of Clinton, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 13, 2025 at the age of 72. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Charlie Engelken to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his father Ralph Engelken; his brothers, Fred Engelken and Steve Engelken; and his parents-in-law, John Nuhn and Betty Nuhn.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Ann (Schilling); his children, Doug Schilling (Allison), Kirsten Engelken (David), Erica Pilla (Tom) and Janice Buterbaugh (Tommy); his grandchildren, Sophie, LaLa Schilling, Tessa, Tatum Pilla and Lucas Buterbaugh; his mother Rita Engelken; and his siblings, Dennis Engelken, Karen Mantele, Linda Krueger, Diane Ogden, Loras Engelken, Mary Sheppard (Steve), Tom "Boots" Engelken (Jen) and Pat Taylor (Tom).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Vansant-Mills Funeral Home (314 W Jefferson St, Clinton, MO 64735). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Project Christmas Cheer (Clinton, MO) in his memory.
