It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Young of Clinton, Missouri, born in Carthage, Missouri, who passed away on January 3, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Edward Young, Sr. and Imogene Young; his stepfather Lee Reed; his son Steven Douglas Young; his siblings, Helen Young, Sue Howard, Betty Warden and Pat Young; his nephew Curtis Wade Young; and his grandson Sebastian Ladd.
He is survived by: his wife Sheila; his children, Chuck Young and Karen Smith; his stepchildren, Robbie Valentine, Michael Valentine (Suzette) and Janae Valentine; and his siblings, Jean Campbell, Andy Young (Tilly), Judy Brown, Mary Miller and George Young (Sharon). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to The American Cancer Society and can be left in care of the funeral home.
