He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Douglas Brooks (Teresa), Daniel Brooks (Debby) and Robin Everhart (Daniel); his grandchildren, Eric Brooks (Michal), Stephanie Shepard (Cory), Aaron Brooks (Belinda), Jimmy Brooks, Janelle Steding (Kyler), Cameron Brooks and Kaleb Giles; his great grandchildren, Jaselynn, Alyvia, Ava, Laira, London, Keagan, Vivian, Keaton, Jackson, Royce, Roman and Raelynn; his cousin Jim Burton (Sharon); and his friend Charlie Fields. He is also survived by other cousins, nephews.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Hermitage Masonic Lodge #288 or GVMH Hospice and can be left in care of the funeral home.
