He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Whitener and Phoebe Whitener (Dills). He is survived by: his wife Mildred Katherine Tull; his children, Robert Whitener (Tammy), Jerry Whitener (Kristi) and Brenda Conway (Joey); his grandchildren, Amanda Boyd (Taylor), Houston, Emily Whitener, Garland, Joseph Conway (Katlyn), Clinton, Kirstin Stanley (Jason), Micaela Hubbard (Isaiah), Ben Whitener (Hallie), Middlebury and Isaiah Conway; and his siblings, Guy Whitener (Kay) and Ruby Laughter. He is also survived by four great-grandsons; one great-granddaughter.
The family suggests memorial contributions to World Missionary Press in New Paris, In., and these donations may be left in care of the funeral home.
