She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Yates and Ruby Yates; and her daughter Pamela Lynn Harper (Clint Harper). She is survived by: her grandchildren, Shannon Fortenberry, Andy Harper (Sherri Harper), Jenny Sullins (Vance Sullins), Amber Jones and Shelley Jones; her great grandchildren, Maddie, Tori, Clint, Hannah, Grant, Emma, Tyler, Zoey, Jacy and Eli; and her daughter Sherri Denise Jones (Richard Cox). She is also survived by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many dear friends.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home (10507 Holmes Rd, Kansas City, MO 64131).
