Betty Braun Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Braun of Clinton, Missouri, who passed away on February 23, 2025 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Batschelett and Ruth Robertson Batschelett; her husband Buddy Braun; her daughters, Suzetta Busby and Sharlene Wirsig; her brother Dale Lee Batschelett; and her parents-in-law, Henry and Violet Braun.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Lana Markway (Taylor Markway); her son-in-law Richard Wirsig; her stepgrandson Blaik Wirsig (Cindy Wirsig); her sister Darlene Woods; her niece Janet Parks; her nephew Mike Woods; her sister-in-law Mary Batschelett; her nieces, Suzette Batschelett, Angelia Batschelett Entrop and Jennifer (David Cummings); and her nephew Anthony Batschelett.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Clinton Methodist Church (601 S 4th St, Clinton, MO 64735). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Henry County Historical Society or the Clinton Methodist Church and may be left in care of the funeral home.
