She was predeceased by: her parents, Cody Gaines and Josephine Gaines (Hummell); her husband John W. Walters; her son John A. Walters; and her sister Betty Laird.
She is survived by: her daughters, Bobbi White (Rick) of Pittsburg, KS, Regina Rider (Terry) of Climax Springs, MO, Rebecca Phillips (John) of Overland Park, KS and Renee Walters of Owasso, OK. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
