She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Mallonee and Lyndal Mallonee (Barnett); her husband James Allen Meritt; her grandchildren, Aaron King and Jeffrey Bloomer; her great grandchild Paity; her brother Winfred Mallonee; and her brother-in-law John Boyd.
She is survived by: her children, Cathy Sanderson (Richard), Tom Meritt (Kathy) and Karen Bloomer; her grandchildren, Jaredd King (Heather), James Darin Bloomer, Jessica Bloomer, Jonathan Bloomer, Mallonee Meritt Basham (Tony) and Travis Meritt; her great grandchildren, Lanie, Gracie, Abbi, Rylea, Klarah, Maycee, James Allen, Aidyn, Emma, Tegan, Jaxon, Brendyn and Maverick; and her sister-in-law Mary Katherine Boyd. She is also survived by five nieces and their families and several cousins.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Shriner's Hospitals for Children or Frazier Cemetery Association or The Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks.
