He was predeceased by: his parents, Cloyd Hanafin and Tishie Hanafin (Jones); his wife Ruby; and his siblings, Beulah Beucher, Mildred Crawford, Earl, Ottis, Kenneth, Leon Hanafin, James Junior and Velda.
He is survived by: his children, James Hanafin of Springfield, Tom Hanafin of Clever and Kandy Vice (Will) of Clever; his grandchildren, Alicia, Jesse, Erica and Mackenzie; his sister Betty Wright; and his sister-in-law Mary Lynn Hanafin. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
