He is survived by: his children, Patricia (Dave Harp), Julie (Leroy Butler), Jerry Jr. (Wendi Thornton) and Michael (Renee Thornton); his granddaughter Katherine Thornton; his great grandchildren, Noah and Yasmine; his grandchildren, Breanna Harrel (Stephen), Kenneth Westerman (Arianna), Skylar Butler (Quincey Clay), Kimberly Westerman and Justin Butler (Emma Hamm); his great grandchildren, Jaxon, Marshall Harp, Jerris Thornton, Lexi Harp and Jamis Thornton; and his siblings, Leon Thornton (Joan) and Linda Johnson (Terri).
