It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James K. VanBeber of Clever, Missouri, born in El Dorado, Kansas, who passed away on September 23, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though James may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those James touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earnest VanBeber and Edith VanBeber; his wife Kathie; and his sisters, LuAnn Anderton (Larry) and Sharon Werner (Ron).

He is survived by: his children, James VanBeber, Mike Stewart, Marie Pitcher (Donald), Jon VanBeber, Jeff VanBeber (Birgit) and Naomi Phillips (Chuck); and his sister JoAnn Weeks (Del). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and loving friends.
