He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Troutt and Effie Troutt (Hoyt); his siblings, Rex Troutt and Barbara Gann; his children, Ashley Rene Troutt, John Mark Troutt and Stephanie Richardson; his granddaughter Amanda Wheeler; and his great grandchildren, Daniel Goodman and Nathan Richardson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sandy Magruder (Carroll), Valerie Mitchell (Alvin) and Kimberly Troutt Guccione; his son-in-law Ralph Richardson; and his grandchildren, Crystal Wilson (Terrance), John Claybrook (Tonya), Jennifer Hale (Shane), Mike Richardson (Pam), Jason Mitchell (Tiffany Young), Rachael Jones (Barry), Laura Faflak (Derek), Marc Wheeler, Alex Grady and Danae Wheeler (Josh Paget).
