He was predeceased by: his father Reuben Pond; his wife Beatrice; and his siblings, Leroy and Marie. He is survived by: his children, Stephen (Kathie), Michael (Diane), Jeffrey (Maureen), Christopher (Heidi), Cynthia (Glenn), Susan (William) and Joseph Jr. (Robin). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren.
