He was predeceased by: his parents, George Joseph Sr. and Opal Mae Cochran (Manning); his wife Ellen Cochran (Nita); his son George Earl Cochran; and his siblings, Audrey Cochran and Mickey Cochran.
He is survived by: his children, Mitchell Cochran (Karen K.), Darryel Cochran (Karen D.), Joel Cochran, Marie Holcomb (Craig) and Sandra Bartlett; and his siblings, Carl Cochran (Sheila), Calvin Cochran, Gereldine Richards, Jenny Thienes (Jim) and Susan Cowan. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren.
