She is survived by: her husband Rich Slaten; her children, Greg Slaten (Chikako) of Sellersberg, Lani Clayton (John) of Burlington Junction and Jamie Mims (Willie) of Tyler; her grandchildren, Jocelyn, Stephen, Deanna, Rachel, McKinley, Cameron and Kacey; her mother-in-law Lorna Slaten; her siblings, Gerald Wheeler (Jaquita), Dennis Wheeler (Cheryl), Karla Williams, Don Wheeler (Brenda) and Kevin Wheeler (Debbie); and her siblings-in-law, Renee Sandusky (Don) and Roger Slaten (Penny).
