As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though James Grant may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James M. Asher and Ruth A. Asher (Hill); his daughters, Lillian Asher-Mapes and Myrna Asher; his stepdaughter Leasa Fallmer; and his siblings, Linda Sanders and Charles Asher.
He is survived by: his children, Marian Asher-Sand (Chris) and Gail Asher-Fiedler (Ray); his stepdaughter Lori Smith-Freeman (McCalvin); his sister Donna Sanders; and his sister-in-law Edna Asher. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Price Funeral Home (120 E 1st St, Maryville, MO 64468).
