It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernon Glenn Hughes of Clarksville, Missouri, born in Elvins, Missouri, who passed away on February 18, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Glenwood Hughes and Cleo Nadine Hulsey; and his siblings, Janet Gail LaChance and Ronald Phares. He is survived by: his siblings-in-law, Robert LaChance of Desloge, MO and Ursula Rakow (Don) of Rockwall, TX; his nieces and nephews, Regna Wirth (Lou), Rhonda Phares, Jennifer Hulsey, Christine Rakow, Kevin LaChance, Doug Hulsey, Jeff Hulsey, Donald Rakow and David Rakow; and his close friends, Carolyn Morehead, Bob Bush (Sharon), Betty Pennington, Bertha Mae Taylor, Bob Watkins (Peggy), Brenda Phares and Mary Ward. He is also survived by many great nieces, nephews, and cousins.
