He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Loren and Marie Elenora Welshan Mudd; his nephew Johnny Dole Hargrove; and his grandparents, Ralph, Mildred Mudd and Ada Mudd (Pickering).

He is survived by: his siblings, Glenn L. Mudd (Dorothy) of Houston, TX, Loren Milkey of Las Vegas, Jill Walker of Bowling Green, Janis Asher (Billy) of Russellville and Pam McNally of Louisiana.
