He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence McDaniel and Permelia McDaniel (Gross); his wife Norma Deane Davis; his son Dale Eugene McDaniel; and his brother Norris Dean McDaniel.
He is survived by: his children, Steven "Steve" Blaine McDaniel (Barb) of California, Missouri and Debra "Deb" Jo McDaniel (Billy) of California, Missouri; his grandchildren, Kristen "Kris" McDaniel and Clint McDaniel (Angie); his great grandchild Ciarra McDaniel-Simms; his siblings, Wallace McDaniel (Terri) of Green Shore and Marian Britton of Raytown, Missouri; his cousin Emma Bommel of Jefferson City; his nephews, Gary McDaniel (Sally) of Kansas City, Larry McDaniel (Linda) of Kansas City and Tim McDaniel (Julie) of Illinois; and his great-nieces, Ali and Jenna McDaniel.
