She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Fowler and Ruby Fowler (Spoon); her husband Melvin Leon Wead; and her children, Jeff Lemley and Veronica Cox.

She is survived by: her children, George Lemley, Velvet Lemley of Van Buren and Rayna Lemley of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; and her siblings, Dennis, Donna and Mary. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.
