He was predeceased by: his wife Connie S. Bolton; his parents, William Edward and Velear Miller Bolton; and his siblings, Eddie and Helen Brown.
He is survived by: his daughter Debbie; his son-in-law Dan Brown; his brother Carl Bolton; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Hornstein (Jesse) and Christopher Brown (Lisa); his great grandchild Mathis Hornstein; and his brother-in-law James Scruggs. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
