It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara Jo Sumpter (Clark, Missouri), who passed away on June 28, 2019, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Canote and Josephine Canote (Moore); and her brother Darrell Canote. She is survived by: her husband Larry Sumpter; her children, Richard Sumpter (Angie) of Moberly, Chad Sumpter of Lees Summit, MO and Denise Briscoe (Ben) of Moberly; her grandchildren, Andrea (Allison Sumpter), Clayton (Drake Briscoe), Patrick Avery Sumpter, Lyndsey Brook and Cody (Katie Parker); her great grandchild Waylon Fisher; and her brothers, James Canote (Dorothy) of Harrisburg, MO, Ron Canote (Janet) of Clark, MO and Dennis Canote (Annette) of Ashland, MO. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Dialysis Clinic of Moberly would be appreciated.
