He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lewis and Hallie Mae Vickers (Wickham); his wife Helen Irene Peterman; his sister Evelyn; and his brothers-in-law, Anderson Meadows and Raymond McDuffee.
He is survived by: his children, Robert L. "Bob" Vickers (Rita) of Wentzville, MO and Deborah "Debbie" Williams (Dennis) of Clarence, MO; his granddaughters, Julie Stemme (Fred) of Saint Charles, MO, Lori Rehmert (Craig) of Fairbank, IA, Staci McLelland (Byron) of Macon, MO, Heidi Dimmitt (Chris) of Monroe City, MO and Tiffany Schwada (Ryan) of Lenter, MO.; and his great grandchildren, Jacob, Erin, Kaitlyn Stemme, Chloe, Lydia, Corrine Rehmert, Blythe, Blaire McLelland, Kemper, Perri Dimmitt and Reid Schwada.
Memorials may be made to the Clarence Christian Church, Clarence VFW, Clarence Care Center, or Clarence Maplewood Cemetery.
