He was predeceased by: his parents, Rodney Willard Farmer and Alice Madelyn McMurtry Farmer; his siblings, Patricia Alice Farmer Jarboe, Clara Sue Farmer Murphy and Lee "Chuck" McMurtry Farmer; his son Jonathan Clay Farmer; and his great grandchild Karalynn Binder.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Lou Mahoney Farmer; his sister Nadean Elizabeth Farmer Wood; his sons, Robert Lee Farmer, Jeffrey Bruce Farmer, Timothy Joel Farmer (Karrie), Steven Willard Farmer and Thad Patrick Farmer; his grandchildren, Lindi Bell Binder (Nathan Binder), Jaime Farmer (Jo), Jessica Townsend and Samantha Farmer; and his great grandchildren, Avery Farmer and Sawyer Farmer.
Due to COVID19, the family asks all visitors and attendees to please wear face masks.
Memorials may be made to the Clarence American Legion, St. Patrick Cemetery, and the Ronald McDonald House in Columbia.
