He was predeceased by: his parents, Thornton Barton and Ruby Delphine Barton (Gingrich); his spouse Ardyth Gayle Cozad; and his siblings, Junior Barton, Billy Jim Barton, Norman Barton and Carolyn Stender.
He is survived by: his children, Randy Barton (Diane) of Clarence, MO, Karen Barbey (Sonny) of Clarence, MO and Barry Barton (Candy) of Moberly, MO; his grandchildren, Stephanie Turnage (Matthew), Amanda Collins (Porter), Darla Jones, Bryce Jones (Megan), Samuel Barbey, Dale Bode (Jessica), Samantha Spacher (Tim) and Luke Bode; and his siblings, Marilyn Kriner, Larry Barton (Ada), Jerry Barton (Donna), Trenneth Barton (Elaine), Peggy White (Randy), Linda Kay Barton and Roy Dale Barton (Leslie). He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
