She was predeceased by: her parents, John Franklin and Lorena Mae Maple (Phillips); her stepmother Delores Maple; her grandmother Clara Maple; her uncles, Ronald Maple, Claude Maple and Marion Maple; and her aunt Juanita Maple.

She is survived by: her husband Ronald Shores; her daughter Shannon Toal (Tony Schafer) of Clarence, MO; her grandsons, Zane Schafer and Weston Schafer; and her siblings, Terry Maple of Ohio and Randy Maple of Germany.
