She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion M. Bryant and Helen Ruth Bryant (Subke); and her sister Brenda Bryant. She is survived by: her husband David Ledrue Melson; her children, Jennifer Meyer (D. J.) of Oklahoma City, OK, Christopher Melson (Sara) of Carthage, MO and Curtis Melson (Erin) of Clarence, MO; her grandchildren, Kaleigh, Kileigh, Zac, Eli, Ressie, Liam and Adam; her great grandchild Ryan David; and her brothers, David Bryant (Connie) of Clarence, MO and Jeff Bryant (Cheryl) of Springfield, MO. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

Memorials may be made to Clarence Care Center.
