She was predeceased by: her parents, Vaughn Rhoades and Edith Rhoades; her sisters, Mary Wilson, Joyce Keithley and Ruth Roney; and her son Brian Oertwig.

She is survived by: her son Fred Oertwig of Chula; and her sisters, Ernistine Railsback and Glenda Gillilan of Chillicothe. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
