He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Lohnes and Mary Jane Lohnes; his former wife Judith McKay Burkey; his son Scott McKay; his girlfriend Betty Biswell; and his siblings, Eugene McKay, James McKay, Danny McKay, Alvina McKay, Loretta McKay and Eunice McKay.
He is survived by: his daughter Laurie McKay Chapple of Argonne, Wisconsin; his grandchildren, Jennifer Spake of Kansas City, Missouri, Bailey Chapple of Argonne, Wisconsin, Jacob Chapple of Argonne, Wisconsin and Jessica McKay of Appleton, Wisconsin; and his great grandchildren, Marley Daniels, Jaxon Chapple, Brayden McKay and Bentley McKay.
