She was predeceased by: her parents, Dennie Anderson and Violet Anderson (Fields); her son Garrett Simpson; her siblings, Victor Anderson and Donna Thomas; and her niece Debbie Peterson.
She is survived by: her husband Benny Simpson; her son Jeffery Simpson of Sedro-Woolley, Washington; her grandchildren, Vanessa Ostermann (Dezic) of Chillicothe and Jonathon Simpson of Sedro-Woolley, Washington; and her brother Dewayne Anderson (Susan) of Braymer, Missouri. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
