He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifton Wendt and Goldie Wendt (Wilson); and his siblings, Jack Wendt, Anna Mae Wendt and Mary Ellen Cottrell.
He is survived by: his wife Caroline Wendt; his children, Doug Wendt (Vicki) of Joplin and Melinda Henry of Chillicothe; his grandchildren, Brandon Wendt, Kyle Wendt, Travis Henry (Lauren) and Bailey Henry; his great grandchildren, Logan Tate and Emma Wendt; and his sister Connie Byers. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
