He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Long and Merle Long (Devereaux); and his brothers, Robert Curry and Jim Long. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Long; his children, Gerald Mathews (Janie) of Cameron, Missouri, Randy Mathews (Melanie) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Jeff Long (Lori) of Chillicothe and Lisa Boyd (Marc) of Chillicothe, Missouri; and his brother Carroll Long (Mary) of Battlefield, Missouri.. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; twenty-five great grandchildren.
