She was predeceased by: her parents, Vern Owen and Blanche Fern Stevenson (Talbert); her husband Walter "Pepper" Martens, Jr.; her son Dennis Martens; and her sister Beverly Lowther.
She is survived by: her son Dwight "Duke" Martens (Cindi) of Overland Park, Kansas; her grandchildren, Shanelle Martens Varone of Olathe, Jessica Martens Coleman of Phoenix, Adam Martens (Kristina) of Toronto, Ontario, Amanda Martens Williams (Rick) of Lakeland and Abey Martens of Albequerque; and her daughter-in-law Joanna Martens of Albequerque. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren; three great great-grandchildren.
