Walter Lee left this world on February 15, 2025 at the age of 85, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Dyke and Dorothy Van Dyke (Triplet); his former wife Joan Van Dyke (Swain); his son Randall Lee Van Dyke; his stepdaughter Kimberly Johnson (Copeland); and his great grandchild Charlie Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Carol; his daughter Lisa Brown (Mike) of Lakeland, FL; his stepson Daniel Copeland (Cathy) of Lakeland, FL; his grandchildren, Danille Trew of Boliver, Kelsey Anderson (Adam) of Trenton, Clinton Brown (Emma) of Tina, Darby Van Dyke of Oklahoma, Jarad Van Dyke of Oklahoma, Brandi Van Dyke, Hudson of Oklahoma, Stephen Copeland (Milvionne) of Altamonte Springs, Jonathon Copeland (Gavena) of Orlando, Jennifer Darby (Kevin) of Mulberry and Timothy Copeland of Lakeland; and his sisters, Betty Curtis (Ray) of Golden and Bonna Gordon (Earl) of San Diego, California.. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lindley Funeral Home - Chillicothe (910 Washington St, Chillicothe, MO 64601).
