She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Corley and Ethel Smith (Hamline); her husband Ora J. Kerns; and her siblings, Raymond "Sonny" Smith and Dorothy Green.
She is survived by: her son Zachary Kerns of Independence, Missouri; her granddaughter Mariah Kerns of Chillicothe; and her siblings, Harold Smith (Thelma) of Belton, Robert Smith of Grandview, Richard Smith (Debbie) of Belton, Marilyn McNally (Gary) of Independence, Carolyn Evans of Independence and Margaret Henness of Albany, Oregon.. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.
